I am sure each and every one of us were blessed and changed by this trip.  It is so amazing to be used by the living God in such a miraculous way.  To lay hands on the sick and they are healed by simple obedience of doing what God says.  To see it happen and being the vessel used in that way, wow!!!  Thank you Jesus, I am truly humbled.

I thoroughly enjoyed our devotion time with Apostle Mike every morning. One morning he talked about Isaiah 6:8 and how if we simply make ourselves available, God will use us in mighty ways to further His Kingdom and minister to His people. This was evidenced on this tour. I was able to witness a woman walk that previously couldn’t. I was able to see joy on a man’s face that had previously been full of anger. And I was able to see a group of strangers from all over the US and from all different levels of spiritual maturity come together and glorify God as a team… or rather, as a family.

Every member of the team was wonderful to be around.  Some were very excited to be doing the work of the Lord, and their excitement was contagious.  My life was transformed.  I had been so busy and preoccupied with the things of the world that I forgot that God should be my all.  But HE is now! It’s God and the things of God first.  Everything else comes after God.  

I’ve been in mission trips before.  But nothing compares to MKMI missions.  We were prepared and sent to fish for souls.  Thank you, Apostol Mike and Ethel for an excellent God-filled experience.  I got to the Philippines broken hearted and left restored!  Glory be to God!

Love is an action, and going half way around the world to share this love was worth every penny.  I am amazed at what God does in this ministry, and how the people of the Philippines are so ready to hear the Gospel.  I have a new passion for soul winning. 

 I think I always thought it had to be so complicated, but as we talked about that while we were there, God made it simple.  And the Lord reminded me to ‘just preach Jesus’.  I am so thankful and once again honored to serve with all of you. This trip will never be forgotten and I know there will be many more trips there, and He will provide the way. He is faithful.

Being a part of MKMI Summer Missions Tour is the most amazing, life-changing experience of my life.  I had been serving the Lord since I was a child, but nothing like this ever happened to me.  God moved so mightily in me, just by making myself available to do His work.  Pastor Mike opened my eyes that there’s more in life than just going to church.  He made me realize that God can use me, even though I don’t feel worthy of it.  Going to different villages and reaching out to those people who just don’t have anything – looking like they’re about to lose hope – is so heartbreaking.  But once I witness them accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and getting healed, it really just touched my spirit on a different level.  I can honestly say that the fire I have for Jesus is so BIG and CONTAGIOUS!  (Watch out world!)  I will never forget this place.  My training place!!

Words cannot adequately describe this life-changing experience.  Only in heaven will we really see what has been done here this summer through God’s glory. 

It has been an honor and a privilege to be a part of this mission.  The people of the Philippines are hungry for salvation, and it’s humbling to go to them and preach the gospel.  Jesus died for them just as He died for me, and I have been truly blessed to share that with them.

First, I just want to thank Mr. Mike and Mrs. Ethel Keyes for changing my life!  My life just began the 14th of this month.  I’m 51 years old, and I have just begun to live!!!  God has enlightened me to what He is…Who He is…, and how hard His job is!  Mike Keyes Ministries however, has shown me that we can be the light on the hill for souls!  We can heal, we can save, we can catch people in God’s net and truly become “Fishers of Men”.  I feel so blessed. I can move here and make this my mission for life!  

I have wandered around in life!  I was lost, I now am found, and the first time in my life HAPPY!!!  Thanks you Jesus, Mike and Ethel Keyes.

I appreciate that this trip was drama free and done in unity.  The mission field isn’t one of comfort, but MKMI made it as comfortable as possible through their service to us in all things.  This is a ministry run in excellence all for the glory of God, and you know it.  With that being said, there was absolutely no pressure while on the field.  Simplicity is stressed and is essential to effectively ministering the gospel in this country 

This is a great avenue for those who have a heart for missions and need a way to do it.  It’s great for the beginner – the one who maybe doesn’t even minister at home – and it’s great for the one who is experienced and has been overseas several times!  The mission field is a great place of learning and growing, but being in the compound, and rubbing shoulders with Apostle Mike is an honor and privilege as well!

This is my first time to the Philippines, and my first missions trip.  All I can say is WOW, and praise the Lord!  I absolutely love Ozamiz City, and the people here.  I have always wanted to go on a missions trip, but never dreamed of coming here.  I am so glad that God opened the door for me to come and be a part of MKMI. I now have a family here that I love dearly and look forward to seeing again; hopefully God willing next year.  

During these ten days I have grown so much in the Lord.  I have helped lead many people to the Lord, and prayed with many to receive healing.  I have walked through the streets where they live.  Each and every one of them that I met and ministered to have made such an impact on my heart.  I love their beautiful faces, smiles, and genuine kindness.  

I have watched many of them change before my eyes.  And they have changed me.  I praise and thank the Lord for bringing me here.  And I can’t wait to come back and continue to be a part of saving souls for the Lord!  

Thank you MKMI and thank you God for the most wonderful experience I have ever had.

The people in the mountain sites live in shacks made of twigs and scrap metal.  By seeing that I knew their hope was minimal.  A lot of them walked in the pouring rain to the crusade seeking a little bit of hope from the Americans   but we showed them Jesus, who truly gives hope, peace, love, satisfaction, and He’s a mighty healer.  The people left the crusade thanking us, but all I could do was say “It’s Jesus – I didn’t do anything.”  The Filipinos left smiling and I saw the hope in their eyes.  It really impacted me to know that because I made myself available, God moved, and God was introduced.

I’ve gotten a sturdier foundation in the FACT that God works through willing vessels. There was and is nothing special about us. We just said yes to His calling, His nudging.  I found again that I am not alone. There still are those willing to do His will no matter the cost. 

A man who didn’t have the ability to raise his arm because of a fishpond accident. He came forward holding his arm to keep it from hanging. As we prayed we raised his arm, feeling a grinding in the shoulder like bone on bone.  We prayed and God showed off!  After we said amen we asked him to raise his arm, and he did!!! The brightness shining from his face was breath taking! And God got the Glory!

The trip has been amazing. The new friends – no – the new family we got on this trip . You are loved and appreciated very much!  Thank you for this opportunity, and you will be seeing my wife and I again

For the first time, right now I know who I am in Christ, in Him, in Whom. The gospel of Mark said “in My name they will cast out demons…”  Christ is in me, which means that the same power and authority that Jesus has to cast out demons and to heal the sick is the same power and authority when I pray for people and laid hands on them for healing in Jesus name.

I’m so thankful to God for this opportunity, and for every person on the MKMI staff.  You’re AWESOME.  Ate Ethel and Daddy Mike, you both know how to do family and ministry and that amazed me.  It’s been a blessing for me to be a part of this powerful ministry here in Ozamiz City.
