In part four of this teaching series, we will examine the importance of having both the peace of God and the divine rest of God. We need them both, and we can’t have one without the other. They are designed by God to go together in our lives. We can’t really enjoy the peace of God until you’ve entered into rest concerning the promises of God, and vice versa. In Matthew’s gospel, Jesus promises us divine rest, but the word of God goes on to remind us of the importance of divine peace.
